WELCOME to Day 12 of the 30-day challenge. Habits, how many of you feel stuck with unwanted habits that constantly make you feel bad about yourself, that make you ashamed or keep you stuck in an unhappy or unfulfilling situation. Well, I certainly know this feeling and struggled year after year to give up destructive behaviors. But that’s not the case for me today!
Why because finally I addressed the root of my habits. It never occurred to me that my habits were what formed my identity, nor was I aware of my beliefs that were underlying my habits. I mean all I focused on was trying to stop smoking for an example. I never put any focus on my beliefs that were attached to smoking nor my identity that was attached to smoking.
You see your beliefs help to create your habits and your habits form your identity and vice versa your identity forms your habits. What you believe about yourself your identity will form habits to to be congruent!
Check this video for an exercise that will give you a formula to begin developing new habits!
